For when you need a sharp, experienced mind on a specific problem.
Consultancy: I work with leaders on complex, messy challenges where the question is as important as the answer. This might be a system that isn't working, a change that keeps stalling, or an organisation that's contradicting itself. I bring cross-sector experience, systems-level thinking, and the kind of honest challenge that's hard to get from inside.This has included strategy and positioning at organisational inflection points, turnaround and scaling, operational effectiveness, and designing new approaches that actually stick.Insight Calls: A focused conversation with someone who has seen a lot of organisations from the inside. Not coaching, not therapy — just clear thinking, good questions, and a different perspective. Available as one-off or occasional sessions.
In the Room

Keynote Speaking: I speak on leadership, systems thinking, diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging, complexity and change. Honest, practical and grounded in real experience across public, private and mission-led organisations.Hosting and Panels: I chair and host events and panel discussions, bringing genuine curiosity and enough knowledge to ask the questions that matter.Training and Facilitation: I design and facilitate sessions that move groups from stuck to clear. I'm particularly good with complex problems, competing priorities, and rooms where the real conversation hasn't happened yet.
About
I've spent 25 years leading and transforming organisations across public, private and mission-led sectors, from scaling a national prevention programme across 32 local authorities to turning around failing operations to building and exiting a business from scratch.I'm not a generalist consultant. I'm a leader who thinks systemically, works honestly, and has done the hard things I now help others navigate.I'm currently completing an Interdisciplinary MBA deepening the cross-sector, complexity-aware thinking that has always underpinned how I work.Field Notes is where I share what I'm learning.
